After begging for over a year for a golden retriever, I finally got the surprise of a lifetime on my birthday! I can attest that there is ABSOLUTELY no better gift than a Goldiva Golden on your birthday. Our pride and joy Buoy exceeded all of my expectations and more. Buoy is the most loving, happy, sweet and caring dog in the world. He is fun and energetic but also loves to lay at your feet or snuggle. He loves all people and dogs, big or small. He really is a living teddy bear.
We named Buoy after our love for being on the water, and let me tell you.. this golden did not disappoint! Buoy absolutely loves swimming, the beach, and the boat. He has made all of our favorite activities even better. We’ve also recently started bringing Buoy to Montauk Agility Park where he is learning on their dog agility course! He has a blast running through the tunnel and jumping over obstacles. Our goal is to get him to master the weave poles! I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, but I have never encountered a dog so eager to learn and perform new tricks. Buoy has been doing tricks since he was 8 weeks old! There is truly something special about a Goldiva Golden.
I am forever grateful that Mary gave us the opportunity to make Buoy a member of our family. Being the world’s biggest dog lover, I don’t think I have ever loved a dog so much in my life! Aside from giving us the greatest dog alive, Mary was extremely accommodating in the process. Being from New York, we were unable to see Buoy in person before we purchased him. Mary constantly sent us video and picture updates. Once we came to Maine, Mary sent us a list of amazing restaurants and places to go nearby. Mary not only provided us with a high quality & well-cared for golden retriever, but she also went above and beyond to make our first trip to Maine wonderful. This may be our first Goldiva Golden but it certainly won’t be our last!
