Zinnia
Zinnia has been the talk of the neighborhood since she joined our family. As an adorable puppy it was hard not to love her, and with a large community of dog owners at the local Cambridge park she’s had opportunities to socialize twice a day with many different types of dogs.
Zinnia has always been gentle with people , and socializes well with dogs of any size or breed.
She goes everywhere we’re allowed to take her, and has become our constant companion.
We like to call Zinnia our “old soul” – Strangers often stop us to ask if they can pet her and then remark (to her), “You just made my day”, or “What a beautiful dog.” In our busy urban neighborhood, she’ll sit on the front porch, watching as people walk by. She’s become a welcome attraction to both neighbors and strangers who inevitably stop to stroke and speak to her. Her eyes reflect her gentle spirit; her smile elicits many a light-hearted chuckle as people pass by.
Zinnia is equally comfortable at home with the family, playing with her dog park buddies and enjoying long hikes in the mountains. She’s always waiting for the next adventure, and naturally enjoys swimming and retrieving in water.
Zinnia is an eager learner, quickly picking up training commands and has become a star performer in classes. She loves to do the numerous tricks our 11 year old has taught her, and is working toward her CGC.
