Poppi is a gorgeous blonde bomb shell. I think her “other” name should be Kaboom or Crash! She and Norma Jean loved to climb on top of the 5’ wood pile in winter for some interesting ways to get back down. Or Kaboom because thankfully the Febreeze can did not explode when she decided she needed some fresh air and chewed thru the can with multiple bite holes. She is a dreamy girl that is very affectionate. Poppi is quick for hand signals and always coming “Front” when asked. She’d crawl in my pocket if she ever got the chance. We have big dreams for Poppi in the show ring. Her father Boomer is a gorgeous American Grand Champion in Florida owned by my wonderful friend, Karen Brady.
Poppi’s name is in honor of my father and Master Gardener. The grandchildren all called my dad “Poppi.” Almost all of my siblings have kept on with Dad’s love of gardening, butterfly gardens and raising Monarchs or Swallowtails. His favorite flowers were Zinnia’s. When Poppi grows up, all her kept offspring will continue with the flower theme.
