Mary,
Hello from Bates! Tilly (Boomer x Claire, Sept 2015) sends her love to you, Brian, and your pack. She is 3 now and continues to love her life working in Student Affairs at Bates. Tilly works 5 days week during the school year, but takes much more time off in the summer to enjoy time at the lake. She loves her students and has quite the following on campus. When stress is high (mid-terms/finals), she works half days because she gets so tired from all of the emotional support she provides to upset students. She’s a sensitive soul! Tilly is a true member of our team who is just as effective (if not more so) than her human colleagues.Whenever my schedule sends me out of town, Tilly heads south to Massachusetts to hang with her sister Annie (also from Boomer) and my parents. They are quite the pair!
When they are together, they love to snuggle, argue over stuffed toys, and play ball in the backyard. Heaven help you if you confuse their color coded balls or throw them out of order (Annie always gets the first ball, Tilly the second). Both enjoy long walks on local beaches and rail trails, and have never met a couch they haven’t loved.
We are so lucky to have these two! They give such joy to our family and to everyone who meets them. Thank you so much for bringing them into our lives!
Best,
Molly Newton
