There is something extraordinary about Mary’s Goldens. We share our home with two of her girls and occasionally babysit a third. Outwardly they are uniquely beautiful. Inwardly, they share the same traits; loving, intelligent, attentive, confident and fun loving. These they express through their individual personalities. Evita came to us first on a Boarding Contract and we quickly fell deeply in love with her. She is loving, wise and funny. She bonded with our husky almost instantly. Evita is very elegant and moves as though she is floating. She is also very athletic and a wonderful companion as a runner or hiker. She gives our husky a run for his money! Siena came to us a few months later. Evita immediately mothered her. It was an amazing thing to witness the bond that developed between them. Siena, so far, is a beautiful tomboy. She loves chasing balls and will hoard them in secret places. She will even toss them to you to get you to throw them faster. And while they do have drive, they are content to have a lazy day if that is whats on offer. Walking them in a public place is always a challenge! Everyone wants to meet them and they are very willing greeters. Evita is very gentle, especially with children, and Siena is learning from her. This is not to say they are perfect angels! They love a good Golden Retriever joke and Siena is an expert counter surfer! We do our best to provide them with an enriched life and they definitely do the same for us.
