Bonnie is the quintessential Golden Retriever. She is intelligent, eager to please and friendly with a “golden” personality.  She loves company, especially our grandchildren, whom she greets with her “happy cry.” If she can find a shoe or slipper quick enough, it becomes part of her greeting as well. One might say she practically turns herself inside out to greet you!

Bonnie loves to run, especially on our walks in the woods. With her nose eagerly sniffing the air, she is off and running, leaping over fallen branches or whatever comes her way. Yet, she is equally eager to return, especially to the command of “Front” which usually means there is a treat involved.

Camp is one of Bonnie’s favorite places where she has often been referred to as the Miss America of Natanis by her many admirers. She loves hunting for frogs on our “water walks,” going fishing with the guys, or just haging out at the campfire. As long as she is with her family, she is content.
