DOB 7/22/02 and passed away 7/08/14. Her parents were Can CH Higgins and Scarlet.
Genny was my shadow … my “second self!” She spent every weekend at the lake with us; we share our old family cottage with my sister’s family. They are not dog people, yet they fell in love with Genevieve! Who could resist her impeccable manners and her loving nature. She even joined our hospice team last year when my 89 year old mom battled cancer. Genny would snooze in the doorway of Mom’s bedroom each afternoon. Mom kept a funny looking purple and lime green monkey for Genny at her apartment. When Mom passed away, Genny finally brought the monkey to our house. It’s the one toy that she never tore apart. She slept with it till her last day … her treasure and now ours.
