Finally! Sept 26, 2015 Martini finished her American Grand Champion title handled by Rebecca Carner & Rebecca Bradley. Martini had 32 points and needed 25 points but was hung up on a 3rd Major which finally came thru in Syracuse, NY at the Onondaga Kennel Association show under Judge Bruce Owen finished by Rebecca Bradley. And just in time, she has a once a year heat cycle and it’s due any day. We were really holding our breath! She is so happy to be home on the kitchen floor.
Martini finished her American Champion title July 3, 2015 handled by Mark Desrosiers! What a thrill! Then she continued for another 10 points for Majors each day, Select Bitch, Best of Opposite, Best of Winners towards her Grand Champion title! This relished Grand Champion title is 25 points past her American Champion title and higher than any level we’ve ever achieved. Rebecca Bradley has put most of the points on Martini’s Grand Champion title. Rebecca Carner is showing Martini in NJ this Labor Day weekend.
Martini earned a 5 pt Major at Yankee Golden Retriever Club Specialty show. 89 Goldens were entered from New England and beyond. .This show is larger than Westminster which had 68 entries. This is quite an honor to win the Yankee GRC show. First, Martini won her AmBred class with Mark Desrosiers. Then Karen Mammano took her in for Winners Bitch. And then, Sam Mammano took Martini in for Best of Winners! We are so proud of her and all the handlers who worked so nicely together. Martini’s name will be engraved on the YGRC’s plaque of Winners. Her AKC name is Goldiva’s Pink Martini. Her parents are Am CH Nautilus Axis Bold as Love “Axis” x Am/Can CH Goldiva’s Play N Hard to Get “Gracie.” Martini has 15 points and needs 1 Major to finish.
Martini is one of our treasured Am CH Gracie daughters. Her half-sisters from Gracie are Can CH Eve and Can CH Olivia. Her half-sister from Axis’ is Can CH Margo. Martini is a beautiful silky blonde with lovely doe eyes and jet black pigment like her mom. Martini is an excellent retriever and always has a ball in her mouth, expecting to play, or entertains herself. She’s a little hesitant about jumping into the swimming pool but once in, she doesn’t want to come out. She has such a feminine face and elegant beauty that takes your breath away.
Martini has been exclusively handled by Rebecca Carner for all AKC and CKC shows. She finished her Canadian Champion title in one weekend! Currently she is up to 10 AKC points and just needs 2 Majors to finish her American Champion title.
June 12, 2015 – 5 Point Major today for “Martini” at Yankee Golden Retriever Club dog show in South Hamilton, MA!! I’m am so over the moon happy with this huge win. 89 dogs entered! First, Martini won in AmBred handled by Mark Desrosiers. Then Karen Mammano handled her for Winners Bitch. Then Sam Mammano handled her for Best of Winners under Judge Gloria Kerr! Such a fantastic day!! Thank you to all the handlers including Rebecca Carner for all the effort, points earned and working so nice!
