4/9/2016 New Canadian Champion Gwennie Gwen!! Thank you to Phyllis Wright for handling her in Quebec. She needed one point to finish and she got 5 pts today which go towards her Canadian Grand Champion title, 2 more shows tomorrow.

Gwen is an athletic head turner. She has amazing strength and stamina.  She is every bit a strong athlete as she is a gorgeous, sweet, girl.  She is friendly to a fault and loves to greet humans as much or more than other dogs. She is a strong runner and swimmer and loves to retrieve balls, sticks, and Frisbees.  Gwen often runs in the woods near her house with other dogs and she has a reputation for the being the “one” they can’t catch-she is that fast.  The outside temps are never too cold for her, nor is the water.  She loves water most of all and a leash is needed to keep her out of it when it is bitter cold. I missed the shot the day her lower half was covered in icicles.   She loves to ride and stretch out on the back seat or lean her head out the window if we are traveling less than 50mph!  She loves visits to the drive-up bank window and patiently waits for the biscuit that comes down the shoot!  She has human bed privileges and knows “her” side of the bed….unless its empty and then its always where her human sleeps.  Gwen enjoys riding in the bow of the boat, while her ears flap in the wind. Gwen has two cats who are a few months younger than she is.  One likes to greet Gwen at the door with a nose touch and her other cat likes to pet her.  She likes to join in their game of chase the laser and stand for them while they rub against the insides of her legs. She is always a greeter at the front door, usually with a treasure of some sort in her mouth.  She is an awesome friend, to other animals and humans alike.
